A Holiday Benefit Concert and Community Sing sponsored by Carroll County Arts Council will be hosted on behalf of The Shepherd’s Staff, NESAP, Immanuel Little Free Pantry and Hampstead Little Free Pantry. The concert will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 beginning at 7pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3184 Church Street in Manchester. A selection of Christmas music will be performed by roughly 20 local choirs, individuals, bell choirs and chorale ensembles as well as a few community sing selections. There is considerable breadth given to the music slated to be performed; selections include Joy to the World, Tchaikovsky’s Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Mary Did You Know, and concluding with The Hallelujah Chorus. Admission is free with a charitable donation of personal care essentials, wipes, baby items or nonperishable food items. Seating is first-come, first-served as seating is limited to 400. No ticket is needed and there is no charge for the concert, although a free will offering will be taken.
