The Westminster Police Department is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist I (Police Dispatcher). This skilled position is responsible for the receipt and processing of emergency and non-emergency calls for public safety services, timely and accurate deployment of police personnel using computer-aided dispatch (CAD). 

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; ability to pass a criminal background investigation; ability to complete timely data-entry and to navigate various computer interfaces; and possess strong communications and public-relations skills. This position will remain open until filled. EOE

Pay Rate: $21.11/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week; rotating shifts (day and evening)
