21st Annual Members Exhibit on view at Carroll Arts Center
The Carroll County Arts Council is hosting its 21st Annual Members Art Exhibit this fall from September 18 through November 4, 2023.
Over 110 entries will grace the walls of the Carroll Arts Center’s galleries for an exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of the organization’s members, which has become a popular annual tradition. Various mediums are represented every year, such as paintings, sculptures, mixed media, fiber art, and even jewelry. The Members Show is free and open to the public, as well as the Artists’ Reception on Thursday, September 21 from 5pm to 7pm.
Voting for Audience Favorites will take place throughout the first week of the exhibit. Visitors can scan a QR code at the exhibit that will take them to an online form where they can vote for their favorite entries. The top ten winners will be announced on the Carroll Arts Center’s Facebook page. All winners will receive a certificate and a $100 prize. All works are for sale.
“This year’s show is particularly exciting for me because it’s the largest one we’ve had since before COVID,” says CCAC Visual Arts and Education Coordinator Moriah Tyler. “Our talented members look forward to this opportunity every year to have their work be displayed and admired.”
The Carroll Arts Center is located at 91 West Main Street in Westminster and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 7pm. For more information, call 410-848-7272 or visit www.CarrollCountyArtsCouncil.org.
