The City of Westminster has released the dates for all their upcoming events from Fallfest through the end of the year. Check out the information below for dates, times, opportunities to volunteer, and mark your calendars! 

Fallfest

Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 6pm-10pm

Friday, September 22, 2023 from 6pm-10pm

Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10am-10pm

Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 12pm-6pm

Fallfest is a four-day community event with fun for everyone! The Fallfest mile run kicks off the festivities Thursday at 6:5pm right down Main Street with the Westminster Fallfest Parade marching right behind at 7pm, marking the official start to this annual event. The festival is comprised of rides, games, food, live entertainment, and on Saturday and Sunday only, an assortment of craft, commercial, and nonprofit vendors. Hundreds of volunteers from local organizations and area schools volunteer their time to staff this event.

Want a space just for your group? Consider our VIP bonfires! Haybale seating, drinks and s’mores included. A great way to celebrate a special occasion and have a front row seat to Fallfest!

Oyster Stroll:

October 14^th, 12-4 PM

Enjoy a festival of Oysters & Spirits at this Sip, Shop & Stroll event. Main Street Westminster will be filled with Oyster Farmers from the Chesapeake Bay, distilleries, wineries, breweries, craft vendors, and great food. Live entertainment featuring The Amish Outlaws and many other talented acts performing throughout this lively event.

Spooky Saturday:

October 21^st 3-6 PM

Little ghouls and goblins come calling as businesses open their doors to trick or treaters. Parents and children alike can delight in a variety of crafts and activities that are safe and fun. This event commences with the 1-mile Spooky Sprint with an exciting downtown course that runs through the streets of Westminster.

This is a FREE event!

Miracle on Main Street:

November 25^th Events begin at 5 PM

The Miracle on Main Street event includes many jovial festivities; Jingle Bell Run, Electric Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting Ceremony on Locust Lane, Santa’s Treat (crafts, games, face painting and visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus), plus a holiday light walk in City Park! Don’t miss this fun-filled, family event, sure to kick your holiday cheer into gear!

Storm the Castle Mile Run Series

STORM THE CASTLE!  There is FUN in the FALL at the City of Westminster Recreation and Parks' annual mile run series.  This series benefits the Westminster Family Fitness Center that serves as a staple in the community and brings us all together in our desire to be healthy!

Fallfest Mile: 1-Mile Run/Walk on Thursday, September 21st at 6:55PM
Spooky Sprint: 1-Mile Run/Walk on Saturday, October 21st at 2:55PM
Jingle Bell Run: 1-Mile Run/Walk on Saturday, November 25th at 4:55PM vents we have a mile run through downtown Main Street!
