The 2025 We Are Carroll Awards: Inspire Growth, happening on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Carroll Arts Center (formerly Philanthropists of the Year). You’ll be joining Carroll County business and community leaders in honoring those whose philanthropic efforts make our community a better place. At this year’s awards show we’ll be recognizing the passion for community, dedication to service, and vision for the future the Class of 2025 honorees possess. We’ll be giving five awards this year and we are incredibly excited!

The Class of 2025 is... Rising Star: My Caring Paws therapy dogs; Rooted in the Community: Dream Big Union Bridge uplifting residents and businesses; Living Legacy: Mr. Ed Leister retired commercial banker and constant community advocate; BFF: Herbert Zeigler nominated by Brain Safe Haven food bank and resource center in Taneytown; Philanthropist of the Year: Dave Bond nominated by Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County.
