Ardie’s Story (off track thoroughbred): A Fundraiser for Operation Second Stride, 501c3

Join us for an evening of community, great beer, and meaningful impact as Operation Second Stride hosts a special fundraiser at Waredaca Brewing Company on Saturday, June 6, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

This event celebrates the remarkable recovery story of Ardie, a retired Thoroughbred racehorse whose resilience now helps first responders learn skills for regulation, connection, and resilience through equine-assisted learning.

Guests will enjoy:

• A special beer created in honor of Ardie
• Silent auction items and raffles
• Opportunities to meet the Operation Second Stride team
• Information about our programs serving first responders, emergency healthcare professionals, and families of fallen first responders
• A fun evening supporting a local nonprofit and its mission

All proceeds benefit Operation Second Stride, a Carroll County-based nonprofit that partner first responders with horses to provide experiential learning opportunities focused on wellness, connection, and resilience. This program is provided for free to our first responders made possible through our fundraisers held throughout the year. The next fundraiser will be a golf tournament held on October 3rd, more details to follow soon!!
