Our July presenter is Chris Hadfield, the Vice President of Workforce Development for ABC Greater Baltimore and has been with ABC since 2012. He is responsible for the coordination and operation of the Apprenticeship Craft Training and Trust, under the general supervision of the Chapter President, and in direct support of the ABC Greater Baltimore Chapter organizational goals and the ABC National mission. He is responsible for development, growth, and quality control of ABC’s educational programs. He previously has held positions in the welding, painting, and electrical trades. Chris’s passion for workforce development and outreach has led him to a number of volunteer roles. He is the chair of Baltimore City Schools CTE Program Advisory Committee, serves on Morgan State Universities Construction Management Board as well as Maryland’s Department of Labor Licensing and Regulations Employer Engagement Committee which focuses on connecting employers with hirable candidates especially in skilled trades. Chris obtained his degree from Penn State University. |
