The Carroll County Health Department is pleased to announce a community information session, "Temporary Food 101," designed to help local entrepreneurs, non-profits, and event organizers navigate obtaining temporary food permits. The session will take place on March 26, 2026 at 5 p.m. at the Carroll County Health Department. Whether you’re organizing a one-day fundraiser, operating a weekend food stall, or launching a seasonal pop-up, this workshop offers clear, step-by-step guidance to help you meet all compliance requirements.

Attendees will learn about:

● Which types of events require a temporary permit
● Step-by-step instructions for completing the application
● Essential food safety requirements for outdoor and temporary setups
● Common pitfalls to avoid during the inspection process
● Recent changes in permitting fees
