R/C Theatres, owner and operator of 11 movie theatres in MD, PA, VA and NC,  recently took over owner ship of the Westminster Movies 9, located at the TownMall at 400 N. Center Street. R/C is a Baltimore-based 3rd generation business that previously owned theatres in Carroll County and is very happy to be back in the CC community again.  The Westminster Movies 9 offers lower pricing for tickets and concessions than the previous owners, as well as Bargain Tuesdays, special events and the FREE 2018 Summer Film Series. Power recliner seats have been installed in 6 auditoriums and the remaining 3 will be finished by mid-November.  Other renovations include new carpet and flooring, new paint and a new snackbar coming soon.  Tickets are now all reserved.  Online ticketing is suggested.
