St. Mary's United Church of Christ in Silver Run, Maryland, has a rich history originating from a 19th-century union building shared by Lutheran and Reformed congregations for roughly 130 years. In 1893, the Reformed congregation dedicated their own building, officially forming St. Mary's United Church of Christ, while the Lutherans established their own nearby site in 1894.
