CMC to Provide Live Coverage of the 128th Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair
Westminster, Maryland (July 17, 2025) – The Community Media Center (CMC) will provide live, daily coverage of the 128th Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair starting Saturday, July 26, 2025 and continuing through Friday, August, 1, 2025.
The CMC has cameras installed in the Shipley Arena at the Carroll County Agricultural Center to facilitate the live streaming coverage of major events happening during the fair. CMC will also have cameras at other locations throughout the fair to provide live streaming coverage of events outside the arena. For a unique perspective, CMC’s exclusive Showman Cam will take viewers live inside the ring as judges review the presenter’s knowledge, skills & showmanship along with the conformation of the animals. CMC’s Showman Cam, sponsored by Koons Toyota, will be utilized during select events in Shipley Arena.
Richard Turner, CMC’s Executive Director said, “The 4-H & FFA Fair is one of the county’s signature events, and we are proud to once again showcase the skills and projects of Carroll county’s young people. We are pleased to utilize our digital media technologies to provide live coverage of select fair events via video streaming and cable channels in support of our county’s proud agricultural accomplishments.”
In addition, the Community Media Center has created a special 4-H & FFA Fair page at https://bit.ly/Carroll4HFair on the CMC website at carrollmediacenter.org. The page will include daily live streaming coverage, on-demand viewing of previously recorded events, a 4-H & FFA Fair Podcast, links to the Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair website and full event schedule, as well as an archive of CMC’s coverage from previous years.
Viewers can watch the live, daily coverage on cable channel 19 and channel HD-1072, on the CMC Website at carrollmediacenter.org, on YouTube and on the Carroll County 4-H & FFA’s Facebook page. For more information on specific broadcast events and times, visit CMC’s program schedules.
