Community Media Center to Stream Live New Windsor Candidates Forum

The Community Media Center (CMC) will stream live coverage of the New Windsor Candidates Forum on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from the New Windsor Town Hall and moderated by the Community Media Center.

The Town of New Windsor Election Day is Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The office of Mayor and two council seats are up for election. The following candidates are running for the office of Mayor: Ashley Collier and Kevin Cornick. The following candidates are running for a seat on the Town Council: Dante Howard.

Because the forum will be for candidate attendance only, the Town is asking that you submit your questions for the candidates by Friday, April 25 at 3 p.m. The Town will select questions at random to ask the candidates at the forum. Please email your questions to the Town Clerk at dmangus@newwindsormd.org by Friday, April 25 at 3p.m.

The forum will be streamed live online at www.carrollmediacenter.org on Facebook and on YouTube. In addition, the CMC plans to broadcast the forum live on Comcast cable channel 19 and channel 23 and will be recorded for rebroadcast. The first rebroadcasts will be on May 1st on Channel 19 at 7:00 PM and on Channel HD-1072 at 9:30 PM. The forum will continue to air until election day on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. In addition to the Candidates Forum, the Community Media Center has created a special Municipal Election Voters Guide on the CMC website at www.carrollmediacenter.org. The Voters Guide includes all candidates running for public office in the 2025 Municipal Elections. Each municipality has its own page to include candidate listings, video profiles, candidate forums, important election dates, polling locations and other resources.
