Mural Mosaic’s Global Roots Project is proud to announce our collaboration with Downtown Sykesville Connection for the installation of the America Connects Friends & Family National Mural Mosaic to be installed in Sykesville, Maryland in June, 2024 – final date to be announced in coming weeks as we finalize tour dates.

The America Connects Friends & Family National Mural Mosaic celebrates the collaboration of hundreds of individual artists in the USA and throughout the world. Each artist’s painting is their own interpretation and insight into the project’s theme of connection. The overall mural is a representation of how these hundreds of voices are connected, and how when we come together, we can create harmony in one shared experience.

Since 2003, Mural Mosaic has been creating art that celebrates unity and diversity through awe inspiring mosaic productions. Using the Mural Mosaic process invented by artist Lewis Lavoie, the mission of our work is to bring people together in a way that honors everyone’s unique perspectives. We have produced Mural Mosaics throughout the globe, inspiring viewers to recognize the beauty of our differences and come together in one united work of art.

Our Mural Mosaic team is elated to have the opportunity to have the America Connects Friends & Family National Mural installed in Sykesville. We hope to inspire those who visit it to explore their creative side and to create works of art that bring them happiness; we encourage everyone to find their own unique way of expressing themselves through art.
