Come bounce, wobble, and waddle your way through a 50-yard dash dressed in your finest inflatable costume – T-Rex, unicorn, shark, your choice! – at the Inflatable Races at the Westminster Rescue Missions OkSOBERfest on October 4 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Open to the public, the family-friendly OkSOBERfest will include live music by Redemption Road, food from Chef Patrick Peregoy, bounce houses, fall crafts, games, and the hilarity of inflatable races starting at 3 p.m.
“We are excited to open our campus to provide a space for families, the recovery community, and anyone who wants to enjoy a fall afternoon of food and fun without the typical focus on beer you find at many Oktoberfest events,” said Stephanie Halley, CEO of the Westminster Rescue Mission.
Admission to the event and some activities will be free. There is a fee for running in the inflatable race, for select food and activities. For the latest updates and links to sign up for the Inflatable Race, visit www.WestminsterRescueMission.org/OkSOBERfest.
“An event like this demonstrates how everything we do at the Mission is an effort supported by our many community partners,” Halley said. “It is an opportunity to provide a fun day of community, while also raising funds to help us continue our addiction treatment and food distribution services.”
OkSOBERfest will take place October 4, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the campus of the Westminster Rescue Mission, located at 658 Lucabaugh Mill Road, Westminster.
Event sponsors include InfoPathways, ACNB Insurance Services, Fuchs Gruppe, Barnes-Bollinger Insurance Services, France-Merrick Foundation, Westminster Baptist Church, and media partner WTTR FM102.3/93.5. Additional support is provided by Bikers Without Borders Foundation, Maryland Chapter 7.
