Hi, I’m Alfred Tetteh and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Vybrant Health and Wellness, right here in Eldersburg, Maryland. 

I’ve worked in healthcare for over 13 years, starting as a nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center caring for patients with complex medical conditions. My path has taken me through urgent care, family medicine, employee health, home health, and integrated kidney care. But throughout it all, I kept noticing a common theme: patients who were tired of feeling dismissed, rushed, or told “everything looks normal” when they still didn’t feel well.

I started Vybrant Health and Wellness to change that.

My clinic takes a functional, root-cause approach to medicine—looking deeper than the surface to help people understand why they feel the way they do. I work with individuals who want to optimize their health and feel empowered again, using tools like hormone replacement therapy, advanced weight management strategies (including GLP-1s), peptide therapy, redlight therapy,  gut health testing, and lifestyle coaching.

I’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be when people finally feel heard and supported—especially busy professionals, athletes, and high-performers who are juggling it all but running on empty.

At Vybrant Health and Wellness, our care is personal. We take the time to listen, to test thoroughly, and to create a customized plan for each patient—because there is no one-size-fits-all in health.
