Artificial Intelligence (AI) Foundations for Beginners (Level 1)

This entry-level continuing education course is designed for small business owners, administrators, project managers, and other professionals who want to work smarter in a fast-moving, resource-limited world. No prior experience with artificial intelligence is required. Through guided instruction, peer collaboration, and hands-on activities, participants will explore the core principles, ethical considerations, and practical applications of AI across a range of industries and roles. Whether you're looking to automate tasks, streamline communication, or enhance decision-making, this course will help you build the skills and confidence to integrate AI tools into your day-to-day work. Participants will earn the Level 1: AI Business Professional Certification from Quantum Leap Academy, and leave with a foundational understanding of how AI can be used to boost productivity, support strategic goals, and drive innovation—no tech background needed.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Navigate and interact with entry-level AI tools that support content creation, task automation, and workflow efficiency.
• Define key AI and machine learning concepts and explain their relevance to modern business and administrative environments.
• Identify ethical considerations and common limitations associated with AI use in professional settings.
• Demonstrate basic proficiency in using at least one AI-powered tool to improve efficiency or support project execution.
