About StartUp Lab

StartUp Lab is a free, year-long accelerator program developed by the Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory, Inc. (MAGIC) in partnership with the Maryland Department of Commerce. It’s designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs scale their businesses through:

- Quarterly in-person sessions focused on real-world startup challenges

- Mentorship from experienced founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders

- Peer-to-peer support that fosters collaboration and accountability

- Ongoing guidance between sessions to maintain momentum

Eligibility 

To be considered, startups must:

- Be tech-based or tech-enabled

- Be located in Carroll County, Maryland — or have plans to establish operations here within the next 12 months.
