The Downtown Westminster Farmer's Market is looking for a Market Manger. This position is not employed through the City of Westminster. This position is contractual requiring (8-10 hours/week). 

The Market Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Downtown Westminster Farmer’s Market. Responsibilities for this position will include, but is not limited to:

  1. Acts as the administrator of the market, exercising supervision over the market and its activities.  Keeps the operation of the farmers’ market running smoothly and effectively.
  2. Look for new vendors and ways to grow the market footprint while maintaining the market identity of being food centric. 
  3. Enforces all farmers’ market rules, regulations, ordinances, and codes, research data at each Market, handle vendor application and health forms, and be familiar with state and local food regulations and requirements.
  4. Maintain Social Media sites and coordinator with Gauge Digital Media on website updates and/or changes. 
  5. Accept vendors applications, all insurance and certifications, additional paperwork, and payment.
  6. Maintain a clean and attractive market at all times.

Requires possession of a valid Class C driver’s license. Must have good communication skills and relate well with others, good organizational skills, and must have good leadership skills. Experience with social media preferred.

This position will have a contractual agreement with the City each year and will invoice the City for $1,250/month, total of $15,000/annually.
