The City of Westminster seeks a Housing Specialist to provide support for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program including eligibility determination, conducting annual recertification interviews with clients, verification of income and family composition, conducting background checks, determining rent reasonableness, and conducting interim recertification. 

The Specialist will administer the Intake and Occupancy functions, including responding to customer needs and providing the required audit trail of all transactions. 

High school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and related experience. 

Must have possession of or ability to obtain an HCV Occupancy Specialist Certification within 6 months of employment. 

The pay range for this Full-Time, 40- hour position is $19.36 - $21.50/hour, depending on experience.
