Barnes-Bollinger Insurance is growing and in need of an experienced Personal Lines Account Executive! This full-time in office position is perfect for someone who has previous industry experience and is looking for a long-term, rewarding career. The ideal candidate would have:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited:

  • Maintain and build a book of personal lines business within the agency.
  • Conduct meetings with potential clients, assessing their needs, and recommending the best insurance solutions.
  • Provide timely, comprehensive and competitive quote proposals based on client needs and risk profile, aiming for a high conversion rate of leads to policies.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with - and serve as the point of contact for clients and company representatives.
  • Respond to clients, insurance carriers, sales team, and supervisors’ correspondences and requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, trusted insurance advisor when answering client questions regarding their policies and coverage.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on carrier products, guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes to make informed recommendations to clients.
  • Proactively review renewals to meet changing client needs, ensuring long-term client loyalty.
  • Clearly and promptly document all correspondence with insureds and carriers.
  • Identify, market and propose cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.
  • Follow up and complete outstanding client and carrier tasks and requests.
  • Review and reconcile daily download at the beginning of the workday for assigned client book of business.
  • Assist with department special projects as needed.

The in-office hours for this position are: 8-4:30, 8:30am- 5, or 9-5:30pm- Monday through Friday. At Barnes-Bollinger, we offer competitive wages and benefits. Compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000+/ year and includes both a weekly base salary and commissions- paid quarterly.

  • Guaranteed base salary of $750 per week.
  • Commissions paid quarterly, offset by the base salary.
